Benjamin's final thesis production at Full Sail University. A short film adaptation of W.W. Jacobs short story "The Monkey's Paw." This film adaptation was written, directed & produced by Benjamin Popkin and has its theatrical premiere on June 06th, 2024.
Benjamin's Bio
Benjamin Popkin is a graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies, focusing on Film, Video, & New Media and has a Master of Fine Arts in Film Production from Full Sail University. Since middle school, Benjamin has been passionate about filmmaking, starting with stop-motion LEGO videos and progressing to action-packed shorts and spine-chilling horror productions. He's gained experience in high-paced team environments and solo projects. From photographing Disney Guests to volunteering for WWE NXT live broadcasts, his dedication and creativity shine through. With expertise in producing, editing, directing, and a special love for the camera, Benjamin has contributed to over 30 independent short films, music videos, real estate videos, and live broadcasts. He's skilled in operating equipment like Steadicams, JIBs, and Dolly's, and has experience with professional cinema cameras such as the Sony Venice 2, ARRI ALEXA Mini, Sony FX3, and FX6. Benjamin is known for being focused and detail-oriented, and is currently seeking opportunities in film and show production.
